Land Rover Repair: 03 Disco ABS, TC, HD Lights, rf sensor, customer affairs

Question
I recently purchased a 2003 Disco.  At 50K all 3 warning lights came on ABS, TC & HD.  Dealer replaced front right speed sensor.  At 53K same thing Dealer replaced sensor wiring it direct to the ECM. At 56K samething dealer replaced sensor directly back to ECM.  At 56K + 180 miles same problem appeared again.  Any ideas, I have lost faith in the western Colorado dealerships ability, last time they had it for 2 weeks and returned it with $1500+ of body damage as a bonus.  Is it a coincidence that a headlight has gone out just before those warning lights came on the last 3 times.  Could it be an electrical problem?  Land Rover of North America Customer Affairs has also proven useless and unresponsive with this safety issue. Right front wheel ABS fails to function when the lights come on.

Answer
The next step is replacement of the hub, which generates the signal for the sensor.  Following that they'd look at the ECU.  The thing is, the RF sensor fault could mean the hub is not forming a good signal, or the sensor is not picking it up, or there's a wiring problem getting it to the ECU, or the ECU is bad.  That's the progression for that code.

What the dealer did so far is consistent with how LR says it should be done.  They now recommend replacement of the sensor and wire harness, which is what happened.  Not it's time to move to the next step.

If you are out of warranty, moving through these steps can be costly and I know of no way to make it cheap.  Sometimes resolution is s step by step process and there can be significant costs at each step.

I have never seen an ABS problem tied to the headlights.  If you could verify that, there may be some unique issue with your Rover.
