Land Rover Repair: 2003 landrover discovery leaking from head liner, land rover discovery, landrover discovery

Question
i have a 2003 land rover discovery. It has started to leak. it wont all the time but most of the time. I am in Oregon so we get A LOT of rain. it will always leak from the passanger piller, just above the piller about two inches high and three wide. If we have a down poor it has now started to leak out of the passanger seat belt, and it pours out as soon as you start down hill, even if there is no water on the headliner above the piller. I have taken it to the dealer where they said my sunroof tubes and seal were fine and cound not find a leak. I paid to have them "reseal" everything not sure what all was done. Fine for two weeks now back to leaking.

Answer
The front windshield is almost always the cause of leaks such as you describe. Problem is, you have to break the windshield to get it out, and then you must carefully install a new one with BRAND NEW weatherstrip seals.

Sometimes the window frame to roof joint leaks, and sometimes the door seals leak, but windshields are the deal 90% of the time.
