Land Rover Repair: 99 Disco Blinker failure, brake light switch, disco blinker

1999 LR Disco.  Replaced the rear brake light bulb.  Next day, both blinkers do not work (no light, flash, nothing).  Hazards worked then blew the fuse.  Replaced fuse (#1), now no hazards, blinker, etc.???

Hi Shawn,
check the brake light bulbholder to see if its corroded and shorting out.  Also, it may be possible that the brake pedal 'brake light' switch may be faulty - which caused the initial light to burn out.  There have been many problems reported about brake pedal switches shorting out.  Usual fix is to replace it.
