Land Rover Repair: 2000 Range Rover Air Suspension/ABS issues, range rover air suspension, diaphragm valve

Question
My brother has a 2000 Range Rover 4.0 and his problems gradually started... for about a week it said "EAS Failure" and the suspension raised up high. The rover then lowered to the "bump stops" and said "max speed 35".
Now he says the ABS pump is continiously running and it sounds like an air hissing noise under the dash near the brake pedal area.
I have researched several sites for him and they mention jumping pin 1 to 8...but I cant really find any detailed diagrams for him...if that will even solve his problem.
I think at this point he would consider just having it a a height that is fixed and drivable.
Any suggestions will be helpful! I will forward them to him immediately. If I need to provide any other info to help with diagnosing this please just let me know.
Thanks so much,
Tryna

Answer
This sounds like the diaphragm valve has gone bad, jumper method is outlined here-

Check where the air is coming out. If it's at a line connection new orings will cure it, if it's coming out the exhaust mufffler the diaphragm has gone bad and needs replacing.  After repairs the ECU will need to be reset before normal operation will resume.  There may be other issues as well, but fixing the leak is the first step.
