Hi

I have a 94 lr disco. Today my battery light came on. it started out flickering on and off. It is now always on. the RPM gauge also stopped when the light came on. What is wrong?

It sounds like your alternator has failed.  Another possibliity is that the belt came off, but if that happened your truck would have overheated right away.

Quick action is required, because the truck will die in a few hours running without a working alternator.
