Land Rover Repair: Air Suspension, air suspension, possible solution

Question
I believe I have a leak in one of my rear air suspension bags. Sometimes when it lowers after I get out of the car, I can hear a hissing noise coming from the rear. I can no longer manually adjust the heights myself, and when I crank the car up it takes about 2 to 3 minutes before the truck raises up. What do you think the problem is and possible solution? It is a 1996 Range Rover 4.0 SE

Answer
the leak in the bag means you should replace all 4 airbags, just like brakes and tires.

This is overloading the compressor, and if left too long you will end up with a hard fault and/or a dead compressor.

Replace the springs, if it doesn't go back to normal operation you may need to rebuild the compressor.  2-3 minutes is not bad to recover from a leak in the morning so your compressor may still be OK.
