Land Rover Repair: stalling/idle...... HELP!!!, engine management system, cold stars

Hi, wanted to ask what i can check/fix if my land rover 99 disco keeps idling up and down on cold stars, hesitates while driving, and stalls at stop's. I just got this car my 1st (no more hand me downs)!!! and am beginning to think it was a mistake; please give me hope.... any help would be appreciated

The Bosch engine management system in a 1999 V8 Rover is very hard to diagnose in your driveway.  I suggest you look on www.rangerovers.net in their shop list and see if there's a specialist near you.  Otherwise, I'd suggest the dealer.

There is no obvious or common cause of surging and stalling in a 1999 that you could easily check.
