Land Rover Repair: Landrover Disc... 1 Car cut off, saftey features, engine ignition

Hi John, I own a 99 Landrover Disc...1 with 94000 miles, I slammed on brakes at the redlight and my car started to vibrate and cut off but it started right back up. Could that be and early engine problem?

sounds like the engine ignition cut out. If this is the only incident, I would not be too worried.  Perhaps it had something to do with the saftey features of the Disco.  Perhaps it was the sudden motion that caused fuel to flood the injectors and thus cut the engine off.  It's a mystery.  I've seen it happen on my Disco but it's rare.  Again, if this is the only incident, I would not be too concerned.
