Land Rover Repair: Range Rover County LWB Drivetrain Clunking, chitty chitty bang, chitty bang bang

Question
Let me try to make this as short as possible.

Cluncking and grinding from drivetrain somewhere.  Most noticable at that special point where you are cruising, not accellerating but not yet feeling affects of engine braking.

Clunks and whatnot start to surface.  They seem to go away when accellerating, and not nearly as noticable while decellerating.

History:  Truck has always had bad vibration at 70MPH.  Dealer said tires...new tires put on...same feel...dealer unsure...I thought u-joints...dealer said they looked okay.  Vibration non-existent at 65MPH, so I just left it and figured if it got worst, I'd figure it out.

Then...new rear wheel seals, stub axle on rear and new rear rotors because it needed it.

Now the clunking appears.  First appeared only after driving for half hour, and going 10 MPH in neighborhood, with throttle in that sweet area decribed above.  This lasted for three weeks being driven only here and there.

Today...250 Mile road trip up in the hills.  Now my clunking is appearing around 30 MPH...and then progressivly up to 60 when the throttle is in the sweet spot.

Accellerate hard, nothing (except the old vibration at 70...)  decellerate, slight if any clunking, but hit the sweet trottle position and she's chitty-chitty-bang-bang.

Did I damage the Diff?  Could it be a U-Joint taking a crap?  Transfer case getting ready to drop?

Anyone see anything like this before?

Thanks for the help.

Answer
Anything you suggest is possible.  I really don't like to guess on noises over the Internet.  Some are trivial, but others are life threatening. I'd feel very bad if I made you feel it was nothing and you crashed a week later.  I really suggest looking on www.rangerovers.net to see if there's a good shop within driving distance, or seek out a dealer.
