Land Rover Repair: Non-working Odometer, vehicle speed sensor, shuttle valve

Hi, I have a 99 DISCO series I.  Last week the Odometer stopped working (speed and milage indicator).  I was wondering if it was a common fault that maybe I could fix myself.  I have fixed a few things on the car...Thank you.  Simon McKeon

Hi Simon,

I read once that it could be a loose connector to the SLABS ecu or the shuttle valve.  Remote possiblity that VSS is at fault (vehicle speed sensor).  

Best to have LR technician verify this for a faster more accurate repair.
