Land Rover Repair: 01 RR HSE 4.6, overseas deployment, holes in the ground

Question
After being away from home for a overseas deployment I came home and noticed that my RR's suspension was very low. I'm a fairly new owner but thought the height of the vehicle was odd. In reading the Owners manual and taking the RR out for a drive I discovered that the suspension was on it's 'bumper stops' and the 35 Max light came on my dashboard. The vehicle will not rise and the lights on the level rocker just blink. It now has a very hard bumpy ride and forget about going over any bumps or holes in the ground. It shakes the whole vehicle. It never gave me a problem before, always worked on demand flawlessly. I did have a radiator replaced by a RR dealer and engine work done by a RR trained mechanic prior to my deployment. I need advise. It's been sitting like this for 3 months and I can't afford to take it to the dealer and get hit with a ridiculous bill. Where are you located. I live in the NYC area. If you know of anyone that may have some expertise in working with these problems please advise. Thank you in advance.

Answer
I am in Omaha.  This is unfortunately a common problem, but does not need to be an expensive problem.

Call Ricardo at Land Rover Queens, he is an excellent mechanic and always willing to help.

You can also manually override the system for a more comfortable ride to his shop.
