Land Rover Repair: Land Rover Discovery 2000 rear suspension, land rover discovery, rear tires

Question
My rear suspension has my vehicle lowered in the rear sitting right on top of my rear tires, is there a cost effective manner in which to repair my rear suspension, or what do you suggest I do?

Answer
It is possible to repair the air suspension, if all it needs is new springs it will be about $400, the pump unit itself may need replaced, which is not cheap for a new one. A used unit can be found but would be a bit of a gamble.

Alot of disco owners will put in coil springs in the rear and remove the threat of a SLS fault.  From what I've seen of the DII suspension this is a viable option.
