Land Rover Repair: Electrical @ transmision, land rover service, driven transmission

Question
I have 1997 Range rover and I was trying to fix the signal light, I added a couple of missing fuses, I started the vehicle and could not get the transmission to engage, According to some answers in this web this is not an electrical driven transmission. Can you tell me what I did wrong to cause this mess.

Thanks

Answer
That's a good question.  I remember hearing (at Land Rover service training) that you could insert a fuse into one of the extra spots and immobilize the vehicle.  That may be what's happened to you.  Pull the extra fuses

Your transmission and transfer case are electronically controlled.
