Land Rover Repair: discovery-air suspension, airsprings, air suspension

Question
Hi,
I have been having trouble with the back end of the car. The car rises sometimes. I literally have to start the car and wait to see if it will go up or not. It always starts to rise and either stays up or falls. Sometimes in the middle of a ride it will go down in the back. It is the whole back end, not just one side. Can you offer any suggestions?

Answer
you most likely have leaky airsprings, if it's been going on very long your compressor could be worn out as well.

If you see any cracks on the airsprings it's time to replace them.

If your springs are new it could be a problem with the height sensors or compressor
