Land Rover Repair: indicator lights, diagnostic port, 200tdi

when my disco 200tdi is locked the indicator lights come on but dont flash.obviously this drains battery,i have disconnected most of the electrics from the alarm bar the immobiliser any ideas

The alarm system in USA Land Rovers can only be accessed via the dealer T4 or the independent Autologic tester. You'd need a shop with one of those systems to check it out.

The alarm in other countries may be different but I suspect it still tests through the factory diagnostic port.
