Answer
Hi Audrey,

Gear 4 Incorrect Ratio

BUT before your start looking for a transmission specialist:

some owners have stated that this code can be triggered by a faulty MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor.  Those owners who have had this happen also have a K&N air filter.  It's suspected that the oil used with this type of filter can affect the MAF.  Thus a shifting problem is suspected - perhaps falsely.

Atlantic British sells the MAF for about $150 and sometimes they are available on eBay.

Almost all owners who have had this code say the MAF was the culprit.  Cleaning the MAF with electrical cleaners is on a temp fix.

Replacement (I have not done this) is said to be easy (screwdriver & 15 minutes).

Best of luck,
