QuestionThanks for the fast reply. It's actually the opposite of "stuck". When I push it down it won't click into place to whatever mechanism keeps it there. So it just ends up kind of hanging out. Is it easy to take apart?

My question is about my sliding cupholder on my 2003 range rover. It folds up but when I push it down it will not click into place. The dealer said $300 to fix it but is ther a way I could do it myself for less? Thanks,

Often sticky cupholders are not broken, just clogged with sugary dried drinks. The sugar is sticky and it gums them up. Try cleaning it.
AnswerWell, they are not meant to be taken apart, so there are no instructions to do it. I've had good luck using a cleaner like Fantastick or Windex and squirting and cleaning
I actually doubt if you need to take it apart, you just need to clean it.
Of course, I could be wrong and you may actually have a broken piece . . . but I've seen many that had nothing wrong that cleaning would not cure
