Land Rover Repair: Disco Window, window casing, luck john

I have a 2000 Disco Series II and the driver side window has fallen inside the door.?. Chain if events: The window casing has been loose for a while. Whenever the window would go up it would push the window casing up and vice versa. Last night I pust the window down for the last time and when I tried to put it back up, I could hear the motor run but no window. How do I get the door panel off? Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

There are fasteners under the handle and arm rests and it sort of pops loose.  I don't have step by step instructions here.  If you really need them, I suggest you either purchase a workshop manual for the truck (802 879 0032) or buy a day's access to LR's service web site, www.landrovertechinfo.com

It sounds to me like you need a new window lifter, so I'd suggest you prepare yourself for that when pulling the panel.
