Land Rover Repair: sunroof, landrover dealer, alternative shop

i have a 2000 discovery that i have purchase warranty on it.i have a few question's regarding my disco because i'm not sure if i'm getting the right service from this landrover dealer that i'm going for my disco's services.they fix some problems that i've complained about, but i've told them that water was leaking from the top of my disco and they told me that they just need to clean the sunroof. until recently, it rained and it leaked again and now, it ruined my audio system so, it does'nt work anymore.i took it back to the dealer and they told me that to fix the problem is about $1300 and the audio is about $800. i don't have a problem financially, its the fact that i've told them about the problem many times beforehand and they did not do anything. secondly, i have told them that there's a knuckle sound coming from behind everytime i drive, again they told me that they've driven the car to test drive it and said that they did not hear any sound at all when in fact the knuckle sound is so loud that comes and goes. what do you think is the cause of the knuckle sound coming from behind and what should i do with this dealer? please advise! thank you.

Service people that "just don't care" are a huge problem in our industry.  Is there an alternative shop near you?

As to the noise . . . don't expect them to go for a ride and hear YOUR noise.  Take them for a ride, and SHOW THEM the noise.  If you can't hear it together, you can't expect them to find it.
