Land Rover Repair: 1996 Range Rover air bag removal, wire jumpers, dash lights

Question
I newly purchased a 1996 Range Rover 4.0 with the air suspension replaced with springs. The dash lights for the suspension are all on and the profile with the arrow going underneath is also showing. Is it possible to turn the lights off? Will this also affect cruise control operation?

Answer
This should not affect the Cruise Control at all.  To stop the beeping and the height warning, you just need two wire jumpers.  On the ECU connector (under the drivers seat, at your heels) place a jumper from pin 1 to pin 25 and pin 7-18 on the wiring harness end of the connector.  This will fool the BECM into thinking the EAS is in manual mode (for transportation on a truck/boat, set by testbook).
