Land Rover Repair: 96 LR Disco turns over but wont start, crank sensor, position sensors

Question
My disco turns over strong, but doesn't start. I have verified that it is getting fuel.  I know that what is happening is there is no spark, but I don't know why.  Is there an engine disable function--if so, would turn over, or would it just do nothing? I'm sure its simple, I just don't know enough to know what it is.  Thanks for any help.

Answer
If it cranks over but does not start look for the signals from the crank and cam position sensors.  The cam sensor is on the front of teh motor. The crank sensor is on the rear at the bell housing.
