Land Rover Repair: 99 Disco 2, t4 system, john robison

Question
My dome lights will stay on until I press the brake pedal.  When I get out I can't lock the doors with the remote lock.  I thought of trying to see if I had a bad door switch.  It's like there's a door open but what's up pressing the brake pedal and then the dome lights going out?

You need a shop with the T4 system (dealer) or the Autologic (independent) to diagnose the alarm system.  If you don't know such a shop try the index on www.rangerovers.net

There is not much home diagnosis for the alarm in that car.
