Land Rover Repair: water leaking from roof, windshield replacement, roof leaks

I purchased my 2003 Discovery 3 weeks ago and have noticed that the roof leaks when it rains. The water comes through the liner from the driver a-piller all the way around the windshield to the passenger a-piller. The wet spot is only a 1 inch area above the doors and windshield. I have not been able to find any info on this problem, and have not gone to the dealer, yet.

The car probably had a poor quality windshield replacement.  You'll probably need to replace the windshield again, and this time use new moldings and fit them properly.

Sadly, the insurance companies don't pay enough to get really good people doing glass repair.  You get kids who throw them together and stories like this are often the result.

There are other possibilities but 9 times out of 10 this is the answer.
