Land Rover Repair: 2000 Disco series 2 ck engine light, land rover specialist, smog check

Question
Trying to past smog in CA> The first smog check said the check engine light came on at 75 miles per hour and o2 senors not working; second test replace o2 sensor now the check engine light won't not come on. I had the dash removed and the green systems board appears to have the check engine light spot lets say not puffy like the rest sort of flat. The car runs great even great mileage for a Rover; no drips when parked just real sweet car. Do I need a new system board? Where would I get this? Oh, the car passed on emissions just seems the codes are acting up

Answer
If you changed the o2 sensors and the result is that the light is on all the time, I'd suggest you look to see if something was done wrong in that process.

I don't think the instrument board has anything to do with your problem.  You have some kinid of running problem with the engine.  That's what the light is telling you.

I suggest you look on www.rangerovers.net to see if there's a good Land Rover specialist near you.
