Land Rover Repair: brakes, caliper pistons, discovery td5

Question
Hello,
I have a 1999 LR Discovery td5 and I have been having problems with the brakes squealing while I am driving. It only happens when my Disco is warm and it can happen at any speed.  I changed the brakepads over 15000kms ago, but when I changed them it didn't make the noise and it has got steadily louder over the last few weeks. LR have not been able to find the problem, but over the weekend the 3 amigos came on and are staying on. Could this have anything to do with the noise?
Please can you help me before the noise turns me mad?

Lynn

Answer
The usual cure for squeal is new, genuine LR, pads and rotors all around, and make sure all the caliper pistons are free and the slides are free.

The lights may be on because the sensors pick up the squeal or they may indicate some other problem.

Before investing in new brakes I'd have a specialist look at it and get their opinion.
