Question
Sir
I have a 1995 Land Rover Discovery 2.5 TDI. When reaching speeds of 63 - 73mph and there is a small bump in the road I will get a bad vibration from the near side front wheel this usually goes away when slowing down,I do not get the problem when going over 73 mph, I have had the tracking/alignment checked all the wheels have been balanced all wheel nuts are tight, the tyres are okay, the pressure they are at is 28 psi in the front wheels 38 in rear, the shock absorbers have been replaced, when the vechile is jacked up there is no visable or unusual movement in the the wheel, one track rod end has been replaced.I have had the front wheel changed with one on the back. the mechanic I have has checked everything else out and can find no problems. please can you help

Answer
I've answered this many times on the bulletin boards, and a search there should provide many suggestions.  You need to find what's loose.  Swivels in the front end . . bushings . . steering link joints . . . steering gear . . soemthing has play.  Find it.

Make sure the wheels are properly balanced
