Land Rover Repair: Water in stereo, landrover discovery, discovery 2

Hi, I have just bought a Landrover Discovery 2 TD5 ES7 Auto 2003.
We have experienced heavy rain today.  On my way home I suddenly found that the radio was stuck and none of the buttons would work.  When my husband looked at it he found that there was water in the casette player.  Please could you help me, the radio is stuck on loud and the only way it stops is when I turn the ignition off.

Hi Rachel,

F16 fuse in passenger footwell (15amp) should be pulled.  You'll have to dry out the radio fully before you can reconnect.  Hopefully, no damage to circuits.  Of course, locating the leak and repair is your next step.  Could be from windshield.
