It's has 86000 miles and warranty is extened for 36000 miles/3years.

Answer
Hi Ron,

the extended warranty take affect from the day you purchased it?  Usually this is the case.

Look in the owners manual and you should see a warranty service booklet.

You can contact your local LR dealership and they would be glad to explain the routine warranty service inspections.  Be aware that these maintenace schedules, if done at the dealership, are very expensive.  They are also very important in keeping your Disco operating at peak levels.

The dealership can give you a detailed description of each and perhaps, as your extended warranty states, you could have the work performed by a local mechanic or even do the work yourself.  Keep the receipts just in case.

Once at the dealership, you can also have them update the warranty maintence booklet and register yourself as the new owner.  This will ensure that any factory recall notices of your Disco are sent you directly.

Maintenance can be costly.  One such maintenance for warranty purposes involved a complete flush of all fluids in my Disco.  The dealership charged me $600 - only once.  From that moment on, I've done this myself every two years.

The SRS service call is a different matter.  This requires expertise that is beyond most DIY'ers.

I hope this helps.

Best of luck,
