Land Rover Repair: Key, keyhole, moving parts

I have a 1999 Range Rover HSE.  Suddenly, neither of my keys will turn in the door lock.

Any idea what the problem is?

Hi Jack,

hmmmm...have you tried spraying some white lithium lubricant into the keyhole?  Its possible that that lock is jammed up and needs lots of lube.

White lithium lub spray is best..keeps the moisture out.  Do the latch locks as well.

NB:  in the winter, this becomes a big problem for me.  I sometimes have to 'jar' the lock loose by using the palm of hand against the door (above the lock area).  Sometimes it works...sometimes not.  Not too hard...just enough to jar loose the moving parts.
