Land Rover Repair: ABS diagnosis, select training, abs system

I have a 1996 Discovery 1.  Can you give me the steps in doing my own diagnosis as to what could be wrong with the ABS system (light on dash stays on and we have no activation).  I had printed it out from the Spanish Trails Club website some time ago but now that website is 'locked out'!  In addition to tripping the diagnosis plug to get the codes, do you have the list of codes that will tell me what is wrong!?  Dave

the only site I am aware of is the actual manufacturer of the ABS system used by LR:

They have a free training area and provide the login id (free) and password.  Select TRAINING and follow the instructions or select Contact and post a question or two.
