Land Rover Repair: TD5 problem start in the morning, diesel pump, glow plugs

Hi John im from Peru in South America i have problems with my td5 in the morning i have dificult to start, it start after 3 or 4 times the problem is only in the morning also i have a noise in the diesel pump

Hi Antonio,

It could be wax forming in the fuel.  Diesel engines don't perform well when they are cold.  You should consider having your injectors cleaned and examine your glow plugs.  All of these can influence how easy OR difficult your engine is to start.   Hearing a noise in the diesel pump is a sign that something is wrong.
