Hi, do You know how to remoove radio in 2004 Freelander?

Hi Kaz,

I'm not sure about your FreeLander so I asked someone else. They send this as their method:

"To remove the radio the console must be removed.
The trim on the top of the radio must be pulled back towards the rear of the vehicle and be removed.  This exposes two screws.  Release these, also the two either side of the console by the footwell the gear knob may also need to be removed.  If automatic, just pull off the stick. Remove the electerical conectors and remove console. The radio has two retaining screws at the top and one at the bottom of each side remove these and withdraw the set".


Sounds much more complicated than my Disco...I just need an allen key on either side of the radio to release it from the console.
