Land Rover Repair: cruise control, throttle linkage, intake hose

the cruise control on my 97 disco is broken....and going to the shop is not an option...could you walk me through how to fix this?

You can check under the hood on the left side by the master cylinder,you can find a hose that splits into three.it comes thru the fire wall going to brake pedal.when it come thru fire wall it connects to T piece colored white. 1 goes to front of truck,1 goes thru fire wall,other goes to engine right by the intake hose is a diapfram connected to throttle linkage.check for cracks in hose and trim off if needed.good luck.
