Land Rover Repair: Instruments lights, blubs, lightbulb

When starting the truck all the instrument lights go on and stay on also four way flashers stay on and truck will not start.  HELP

Hi Steve,

check all the blubs on your LR.  See if any are burnt out.  Sometimes a failed lightbulb can cause the most bizzare problems on LandRovers.  Bulb holders in rear of LR's are prone to corrode and short out.  This can cause the problem you discribe.  Go up under the bumper and double check the holders.  That's the worst area.  Sidemakers in front are the next area I'd check.  This has sort of happened to me...cause was a short in the front left sidemarker holder.
