Thanks for the help with my brake pads I wrote you about last week. I took your advice and I had my local boys do it for $150.00. But, now the yellow ANTI LOCK light at the top center of the speedo is on all the time. Do I have to break down and take it to the dealer to shut it off or short of putting some black electric tape over it what should I do ? Thanks John, U DA Man,

here are two webpages that outlines the LR ABS system and how to reset the light AFTER service. Take a look at these two pages and decide if you can do this yourself. You could take a printout to a trusted mechanic and have them perform it OR you could go to the LR dealer and have them do it (CHA-CHING $$$).

Hi Dan,
glad to read your pads were done for a good price. Most dealers would have charged your at least that much for the front pads alone!
As for the ABS light, let me ask around to see what can be done. I know that there are sensors on each wheel and sometimes one of them can fail which causes the ABS light to be triggered. I'll check this out and send you a follow up note very shortly.
