Lexus Repair: transmission problem, lexus ls 400, toyota dealer

I have a 1992 lexus Ls 400, the problem is that when I turn on the headlights the transmission seems like it dont want to shift at all, the light for reverse stays on even when Im going forward. Also consumes a lot of gas. When I turn off the lights everything goes back to normal.

I would take it to a Toyota dealer, or a good indipendant mechanic that deals with Toyota's & see what they can find. You've got wiring issues somewhere & I'm not in a position where I can tell you what to look for, being all the way over here. ;)
