-----Question-----
I just had my auto transmission flushed by Jiffy Lube.. I am having issues with overdrive.. First my od light blinks on and off.. It will drive and shift  and get up to overdrive no problem, heres the kicker, when you go to slow down and you apply the brakes, the R (Reverse light)  lights up on the instrument cluster and the car is taken out of overdrive like if you pressed the button on the gear shifter to turn the o/d off.. That is the only time it does it. If I drive with the o/d off, when I am at higher speeds naturally the rpm's are higher but when I slow down it doesnt go into a lower gear like when I am driving with the overdrive on and I apply the brake and it disengages the overdrive.. Pleae let me know asap

When your O/D light flashes it's because the ECU is storing a code. You need to bridge TE1 & E1 in a diagnostic's port, turn the key to ON, and count the check engine light, and O/D light flashes.
It sounds like there is a sudden wiring problem, or something like a shift solenoid has gone out.

I would also check the fluid level.
Drive around afew minutes & park on a level surface.
While parked, set your brakes & shift into each gear position for 10 seconds & back to neutral.
Shift to park & read the transmission fluid dipstick. You want to read to the top HOT mark. Abit above is acceptible. If you do not read to that mark, add a pint of fluid, repeate shifting to all gear positions, and re-read the dipstick until you read atleast the top of hot.

Don't throw parts at a problem when you dont know what the problem is...
Get the stored code, that will lead us to the cause, and solution; while wasting as little time & money as possible.

it uses Toyota's DLC connectors.

Like I said previously, You need to brudge TE1 & E1 in a diagnostics port, turn the key to ON, and count the check engine light, and O/D light flashes.

The Check Engine Light, and O/D light will flash any stored codes. Your car is OBD-I, it will not work on an OBD-II scanner, but you can self-diagnose it yourself without tools. A wire, or paperclip is all you need.

Answer
A third time. You connect pin TE1, to pin E1 in either DIAGNOSTIC port in the car. You turn the ignition switch to ON, the light bulbs flash a pattern you count to tell the code.

Don't make it out as rocket science. It's shoving something conductive in two holes, turning the ignition key & counting.
