Lexus Repair: LEXUS REPAIR, lexus repair, piston ring

Question
I have a 1993 ES-300 with 180,000 miles. I had the timing belt changed at 111,000 miles. When do you think I need to change again? I also have an oil leak problem, but when the vehicle is parked, there is no sign of oil. So it's losing oil so where. The oil light comes on indicating the oil is low, so when I check with dipstick, it is true. The transmission has been replaced, radiator, value cover gaskets, struts, oil pan. I forgot when I went into Lexus Dealer for oil change and they striped the threads of the oil pan and also told me the oil light sensor was bad. So they replace the oil pan for half the price and also supposedly threw in the oil sensor (free) so the oil light can come on when the oil is low. I never had a problem with losing oil before this, but after that ordeal I did.

Answer
Hello, The timing belt needs to be replaced every 60k miles. As far as the oil, if it is not leaking out of the motor then it must be burning it through the motor which could mean a piston ring problem. Just make sure you keep checking the oil level and change your oil every 3k miles.
