I have a 1995 Mercury Sable GS 3.0L engine. Radiator fan won't turn off. Suspect some senzor has gone dead. What is it, where is it and how can I change it.

Looks like you have a bad radiator cooling fan control module. Located at the top of the radiator. It's a black rectangler box. Also, you might want to check the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor located on the intake manifold. If it is shorted, then it will tell the computer that the coolant is hot and keep the fan running. Start here because its the least expensive!
