Lincoln/Mercury Repair: air suspension leak down, lincoln mark vii, leaky valve

Question
"
i have a lincoln mark vII LSC, my rear suspension leaks down more often as time
goes on sometimes it wont leak down for days and sometimes it will leak down in
about a minute or even seconds, this has been going on for about a
year, sometimes the rear will go down when i'm driving and pump right back up
within seconds, i live in southern cal, so no harsh wheather, also of note the
front suspension has NEVER gone down ever, when i first start the car it takes
about one minute or less to pump up the rear suspension to the correct level, my
guess would be a dried out or leaky valve somewere thats not sealing properly,
also i think this because when it rains or there is a lot of humidity in the air
the suspension does not leak down
"

Answer
I wish I could help you with this but it really is out of my field of expertise. I suggest you take it to a suspension specialist. I had an air line blow on mine and the parts department at the dealer knew exactly what it was. You might try them also. See if they heard of this issue. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck that this.
