Question - thanks for the info, I just tried the screw driver in the wire-- no spark, i'm going to put the slick 50 in the gator in a minute, what could be wrong with the markVI she keeps turning and turning but not firing
i have 2 lincolns, the first one is a 1981 markVI, and she wont start at all, when I turn her she sounds like she wants to but i think she's lacking some fire somewhere, i changed the spark plugs and distributor cap and still nothing, what else could be wrong? second is a 1999 lincoln navigator, just recently i started to hear a slight tapping noise, thought is was the oil but i recently had it changed, after about a month it got louder, someone told me it was the bearings in the engine, it only has 100,000 miles on it and my warranty expired in dec. what would be the least expensive way to tackle these issues?

Hello kevin

With the 81 pull off a plug wire and put a screw in the end of it turn it over and see if you get spark up the screw driver .

Let me know

And on the 99 it could be bearings change the oil once more and put some slick 50 on the oil it should do the trick .
