Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 1990 towncar, jumper wire, elct

Question
Hi Pete!
*you have a nice name! :=) I have a 1990 towncar w/ 112k miles, it will not start. Seems to be not getting gas, doesn't seem to be getting current to fuel pump.(attempts to start w/ starting fluid) power windows won't operate and power assist on trunk also doesn't work. could these all be on the same circuit? replaced fp relay. any suggestions? I have limited funds and am trying my best to repair it myself. thanks, Dave
PS-- love the advice you give to everyone!

Answer
hello dave'
thanks for the nice words.

did you check the fuses . I  really belive you have a bad fuel pump. the tank would have to be droped and rember you can run a jumper wire from your battery to the fuel pump wires and see if the car starts . to see if elct then if it does not start then u know it is a bad fuel pump . need any more help just let me know pete
