Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 95 Lincoln Continental-service engine soon, continental service, lincoln continental

Question
Hi Pete...I have the pleasure of owning my '95 Conti, and haven't had any problems with it...it recently got cold, and when I was driving to work, it started "missing" when I reached speeds of between 45 and 55 mph...usually when I was accelerating going up hill. I was told it could be because of moisture condensating in the fuel, so I put Heet in the gas tank. It seemed to help, but I notice it's still "missing" when I stop at stop lights, and the car is idling. Yesterday, the service engine soon light came on. Do you think the two problems are related? I'm still on the same tank of gas, so I would guess there still could be moisture in the tank? I have had the car for about a year and a half, it had 87,000 miles on it then, and now it has right at 115,000 miles on it. I haven't had a tune up on it since I got it. I've heard that could be a reason for the light to come on...or it could just be a sensor going out...It still runs pretty smooth, aside from the missing that I notice when idling. Any suggestions you might have would be great. Thanks so much!
