Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 1985 Linc Twn Car No hot air in car, water valve, heater core

Question
Replaced the  ingoing water valve, easiest thing to replace. Don't seem to help. Hoses in and out feel hot but SOMETIMES out hose feel less hot. Does the left to right control lever on the dashboard control just the inlet water valve volume? The lower left to right heater-AC lever does move the air to the correct exit locations, and in AC it gets cold.Blower moves air OK. Is problem possibly core blockage or vacum line problem someplace? Would total cooling system flush be of any benefit   HELP ! WIFE elderly and COLD.  THANX

Answer
Hello Matt
this is a blockage in the heater core first flush the system . the best u can if the blockage is not to bad you can on block it.

Other wise the heater core will have to be changed.
Good luck to u and if you need any more help just let me know pete
