I was driving yesterday, and the brake peddle went to the floor.  Long story short: hit brake peddle, spray comes from somewhere under the middle of the car.  I figure it is the brake line, my problem is this - I am a single father, limited funds, and I have to fix this but have no clue what steps to take.  Any guidance would be appreciated.  Oh, 1989 Mercury Sable 4 door.

find where the lines is leaking repair sect. of bad line u will have to bleed the brakes . two man job pete

Thanks Pete, but that is where I have not one iota of what to do - as far as what to ask for - if there is a special tool to fix the repair etc.  Any info is deeply appreciated as far as terms, tools needed etc.  Thanks.

no special tools just a 3/8 open end wrench and a 7/16 you will have to jack the car up and remove the sect of bad line screws in to the good brake line . and you will need to bleed the brake system when you get this far get back to me i will give you step one that pete
