Lincoln/Mercury Repair: 1996 towncar over heating, head gasket, blower works

Question
4.6 L V8.
Overheats after driving for 10 or less minutes. does not necessary overheat at idling.

Blows anitfreeze from holding tank.  16 psi cap is good.

Extra electric cooling blower works with 12 volts direct.

Can not prove it works in real situation.  replaced relay in fuse box by battery, replaced computer temperature sensor.

Not sure of water pump? no noise or signs of leakage.

Answer
by the description it sounds like it might be a head gasket. take the spark plugs out and have a good look at them. you will be looking for one or more that is very clean. if so than that is part of the diagnosis for a head gasket. if it is the gasket than it is the perfect time to replace the timing belt too, it could be a chain but i think its a belt. that engine has over head cam so you would be getting into the same parts.
