Mazda Repair: 1995 mazda protage, cars sales, odd noises

im looking to buy.have friend with mazda for 500.00 but clutch is depressed. Ive been told it might need bleeding or master cylinder. i dont want to put alot of money ia a used car.What do i look for before i buy?

your best bet is to get a mechanic you trust and have him look it over

avoid anything with rust or large holes body work is expensive

having an inspection done will tell you what it needs to be save but nothing more look for good maintaince records
tires are also a big one make sure there not worn past there use or thats going to cost you.
