QUESTION: I replaced the valve lifters, but we still hear knocking when the engine warms up. what should I do?

sorry didn't notice it was the 626 yes the use hyhraulic lifters and should need adjusting. is your timing set right if it's off just a little it may cause top end noise. and did you oil the lifters before they were installed and prime the motor. you may have worn valve components that are causing wear. the heads on these cars are conplex and are recommended that there serviced by a quilified shop.
