Mazda Repair: Mazda O2 sensor, o2 sensor, bolt size

Question
Can i replace the O2 sensor myself?
Im pretty handy.
Will the "Check Engine" light turn off if i replace it
or does a mechanic with the computer have to do that?

normally you can but will need a special socket so you don't damage the wires if you know the bolt size of the sensor you can normally just buy a deep socket and cut a  groove down the size of it.  look online what it looks like and see if you can do so they can be expensive and that's mainly all it is simple a socket with a cut out
