Mazda Repair: stalling, 2004 mazda 3, loaner car

Question
I took my car in (2004 mazda 3 automatic) and had the a/c compressor and clutch replaced and also a new battery was installed. Made it home from the dealer. The next morning the car started fine and then when I idled at a traffic light the car stalled and died. Let it sit for a minute and was able to crank it back on . still doesn't seem to idle correctly. mazda says they can't find anything wrong.

Answer
Well, the best thing to do would be to take it back to the dealer and inform them that it is not fixed and you want a loaner car until they figure out what they missed. That way they can keep it for a few days and get to the bottom of the problems. I would not be surprised at all if the idle step motor or the AC compressor is the problem as I suspect that the problem is non existent when the AC is off. Also, any mechanic who is worth their wrenches should have realized that an AC Clutch should last longer than 2 years! This problem is something you should have to pay little for if at all to resolve as they should have been able to find this issue without a problem with some simple driver diagnostics and a scan tool.
